We are looking for dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic online Chinese Language teachers to coach and tutor students and help them achieve their language learning goals.

Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality, interactive lessons that make Chinese language concepts clear and accessible to students of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
2. Tailor lessons and practice exercises to meet the individual learning needs and goals of each student, ensuring progress in both basic and advanced topics.
3. Regularly assess students’ understanding and provide constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, and tests. Track their progress and adjust lessons accordingly.
4. Encourage student participation and foster a positive, engaging learning environment that motivates students to ask questions and think critically.
5. Be available for student inquiries and offer additional resources for practice, where necessary, to enhance their learning experience.
6. Keep abreast of the latest developments in Chinese language curricula and teaching methods to ensure that lessons are relevant, effective, and aligned with academic standards.
7.  Make use of digital teaching tools, such as interactive whiteboards, video lessons, and software, to create an enriching and dynamic learning experience.

Qualifications

• A Chinese Language speaker.
• A teaching certification in any relevant degree is a plus.
• Experience teaching Chinese language, preferably in an online or virtual environment.
• Experience with students of various proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners, is a plus.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese, with clear and precise communication skills.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of learners.
• Experience using teaching methodologies like communicative approach, task-based learning, or immersion techniques.
• Ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and cultural context clearly and effectively.
• Comfortable using digital platforms such as Ms Teams, and interactive tools (like virtual whiteboards or language apps).
• Ability to create and share learning materials online, including exercises, videos, and audio content.
• A deep understanding of Chinese-speaking cultures, as well as the ability to incorporate cultural elements into lessons to make the learning experience more enriching.
• The ability to adjust teaching strategies to meet the varying learning styles, paces, and needs of individual students..
• Clear and professional communication with students, parents (if applicable), and colleagues.
• Organizational skills to track student progress, assign homework, and provide constructive feedback.
• A functioning Laptop, high-speed internet, ring light and headset is mandatory.
• A genuine passion for teaching Chinese and helping students achieve their language learning goals.
